Blinded By You

This tutorial is for scrappers... now I'm a beginner on scrapping so this is a basic tut for beginners of both scrap and PSP! Good Luck and have fun! It can work for any scrap kit, so you can use your favorite or use the same one I did!
Supplies
PSP
Gradient of choice
tube & font of choice
scrap kit of choice that matches your gradient
the kit I used "Recreation" created by Scrappy Expression HERE
Doodles/word art or accents of choice
Lokas Filter (optional) HERE
included in supplies: tube, font, gradient HERE
1. Open a new, blank image 600 x 400 pixels transparent image (16 million color depth). File > New > set size & set color depth.
2. Selet a gradient that blends well with your scrap kit and flood fill with your gradient
3. Click on the selection tool with rectangle selected and select approximately 1/4 of the bottom part of your canvas
4. Copy and paste as new layer, move it back down so it sits where the original is! Keep selected
5. Effects > Texture effects > blinds with the settings: width ~ 10, opacity ~ 25, color ~ black, horizontal and light from left both checked. Rename this layer "blinds"
6. Open your scrap kit and paste a ribbon so it's half over the blinds and half over the plain background, it doesn't need a buckle!
7. Open your doodle/word art or accents, copy and paste as new layer (if you don't have a doodle and want one, download the recreation scrap kit and use that one!) drag below the blinds layer and position as desired.
8. Open a picture frame, copy and paste as new layer, also below the blinds layer. Click on the deformation tool and rotate a little and position as desired.
9. With the wand selected, click inside the frame, selections > modify > expand by 3 and flood fill with the same gradient. Keep selected
10. Effects > artistic effects > brushstrokes > impasto default settings. Keep selected
11. Open your tube, copy and paste as new layer, resize and position within the frame - if you wish, use the deformation tool to rotate it within the selection so it is on the same angle as the frame!
12. Add any further elements, word art etc. you like
13. Open your font, with create as vector and antialias both checked, add your tag nick. Resize and position as desired, I dragged mine down below the ribbon layer.
14. Add any inner bevel prefer and I also used Lokas Filter - Gel with default settings and color overlay UNchecked.
15. Resize as desired *mine is 450 pixels on it's longest edge* and save as jpeg!
