I used a couple of filters for this tut, they are both brilliant filters and easy to use too so if you're a beginner don't be put off giving it a go!

I also used a PTU (pay to use) artist so I can't supply you with the main tube, but I have supplied a couple of alternatives, or if you have a favorite tube feel free to use your own :)

Supplies Needed
Tube of choice (I used PTU artist Ismael Rac who is found with AMI, find his work HERE

Gradient of choice (try using one with a dark line running through it)
Font of choice
Triangle shape (supplied)
Accents of choice if desired
Filter Toadies HERE
  website HERE
Eye Candy 4000 HERE

Supplied: Font, tube, gradient, triangle shape, inner bevel preset HERE

1. Open a new, blank image 600 x 600 pixels transparent image (16 million color depth or RGB 8 bits depending on your version). File > New > set size & set color depth.  Flood fill this layer with black.

2. Open the triangle shape I supplied (HWSpikes), copy and paste as a new layer. Image > free rotate 90 degrees - make sure that rotate all layers is UNchecked.  Move the shape so it's touching the top of the canvas.

3. Selections > select all > selections > float > selections > defloat. Select your gradient and change the setup so it's the sunburst and has 2 repeats.  Select the flood fill tool and hold the shift key down and click into each of the spikes. Selections > select none.

4. Repeat steps 2 and 3, but this time free rotate to the left and move the shapes down to the bottom of the canvas.

5. Hide the bottom layer and highlight one of the spike layers and merge > merge visible.  Duplicate this merged layer and hide the top layer.  Make sure your background color is on red, then highlight the original layer, effects > plugins > Toadies > blast n blur and use the default settings of x effect ~ 5, y effect ~ 17.

6. Keep the layer highlighted, effects > plugins > Eye Candy 4000 > Drip.  Click on settings and change the preset to Bleeding.  Change the width to 5.59, length to46.50, spacing to 10.00, taper to 14 and dribble to 46 and click ok.  Unhide the top copy, highlight that layer and repeat the Eye Candy step.  (Play with these settings for cool blood effects!)

7. Open your tube, copy and paste as new layer, resize if necessary and position as desired.

8. Effects > 3D effects > drop shadow with settings: vertical ~ 9, horizontal ~ 8, opacity ~ 84, blur ~ 3, color ~ black

9. Open your font and minimize it, with antialias and create as vector both checked add your text, resize and position as desired, convert to raster layer.  Effects > 3D effects > inner bevel 10eBM on the default setting and repeat the bevel one more time.

10. Add any accents you would like (if any!)

11. Add a new raster layer and add any copyright information required for your tube and another for your own "tagged by" line.  Merge > merge visible and resize tag if desired, save as jpeg.

Alternatives
Here i added a spiderweb, different font and tube

Here I used 2 gradients and did not use Toadies, instead I used Filters Unlimited for a lens effect and then used Eye Candy 4000 for the blood
