Beginners and Intermediate tutorials for PSP

Supplies
PSP
tube of choice
font of choice
Scrap kit of choice (The one i used is by Cyntia Zs - link HERE
Graphics Plus Plugin HERE or website HERE
*Optional* Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow
 
included in supplies: tube, font, word art, bling used in alternative HERE
 
1. Open a new, blank image 600 x 400 pixels transparent image (16 million color depth). File > New > set size & set color depth.
 
2. Selections > select all.  Open a page background from your kit and paste into selection. Keep selected.
 
3. Add new raster layer.  Open a 2nd page and paste into selection.  Keep the 2nd layer highlighted.
 
4. Effects > Plugins > Graphics Plus > Panel Stripes with settings: stripes density ~ 52, Stripes Depth ~ 157, stripes width ~ 124
5. Effects > Plugins > Graphics Plus > Border Fade with settings: border width ~ 50, red/green & blue ~ 0, Transparency ~ 16
6. Open your tube, copy and paste as new layer, resize and position as
desired.
 
7. Add any elements from your scrap kit that you wish and position as desired.
 
8. If you have a frame in your kit or a frame saved elsewhere, open it, copy and paste as new layer.  Resize and position it along one corner, then duplicate it and move it down the the bottom corner.
 
9. Click on the magic wand and highlight the original frame layer and click inside it. 
Highlight the copy frame, hold down the ctrl key on your keyboard and click into that frame too.  Selections > modify > expand by 2
 
10. Either copy and paste your original tube as new layer below the frames OR copy and paste a different tube the same way!  Position your tube behind the frames as desired. You may want to reduce the opacity depending on your tube!
 
11. Selections > invert.  Hit delete on your keyboard. Selections > select none.
12. Rearrange any layers you need to reposition and add any further elements you wish
 
13. Add any wordart you wish on a new layer. If you're using a dark background, you may want to use Eye Candy 4000 gradient Glow to make it stand out!
 
14.  Add your text with create as vector and antialias both checked, resize and position as desired.
 
15.  Add a new raster layer for any copyright and another for your watermark.  Resize as desired and save as jpeg.
