~~~~~~
1. Open a new, blank image 500 x 500 pixels transparent image (16 million color depth). File > New > set size & set color depth.
2. Flood fill with either a single color or a gradient, I used a gradient set with the Radial gradient selected.
3. effects > plugins > Alinskin Xenofex 2 > constellation with settings: star size ~ 5.61, size variation ~ 19, edge star density ~ 13, overall star density ~ 10, overdrive ~ 100, twinkle amount ~ 62, twinkle rotation ~ 45, fill with solid color checked and color ~ black
optional - change the fill with solid background to keep original image
4. Effects > plugins > CPK > puzzler with settings: 115
5. Open your mask, masks > new > from image, select the mask name and with invert mask data UNchecked. Masks > delete > yes. You may need to check invert mask data depending on your
choice of mask!
6. Open your tube, copy and paste as new layer.
Resize and position as desired. Duplicate and highlight the original tube layer.
7. Effetcs > plugins > eye candy4000 > motion trail with settings: direction ~ 358, length ~ 233.31, taper ~ 60, overall opacity ~ 100, draw only outside selection checked. Depending on your tube colors you may need to reduce the opacity so the background shows through.
If your tube is on the right hand side of your tag, change the direction to 180
8. If you want to use your background as a fill for your text, click on the selector tool with rectangle set and select an area not too close to the edge of your tag. Selections > convert to seamless pattern and minimize the pattern.
9. Choose your background and foreground colors/patterns you want then open your font. With create as vector and antialias both checked enter your tag name, the size depends on the length of your nick and the font you chose! Position and resize as desired, convert to raster layer.
10. Effects > 3D effects > Inner bevel - of choice
11. Effects > plugins > Lokas > Aqua with default settings (or your own choice) and color overlay UNchecked.
12. (optional step) duplicate the text layer and add the same motion trail you used on your original tube layer. You may want to reduce the opacity if you fancy.
13. Add a new raster layer for any copyright needed and another for your own watermark
14. Save as jpeg and resize as desired.
