You're A Diamond

This tutorial is my own creation, any similarity is purely coincidental!

This tut requires a couple of filters, but is simple enough for a slightly more confident beginner to try out
PSP
gradient of choice
tube of chice
square shaped font of choice -used Wicked Queen-
other font of choice - used Troglodyte-
diamond pattern
accents of choice

supplies include: pattern, tube, fonts, gradient, accents - also tube used in 1st alternative HERE
1. Open a new, blank image 500 x 500 pixels transparent image (16 million color depth). File > New > set size & set color depth.
2. flood fill with your gradient
3. Effects > plugins > Andrews Filter Collection 57 > Cutting Edge with default settings: d ~ 11, m ~ 2, d ~ 17, m ~ 24, red ~ 23. green ~ 110, blue ~ 57, mix ~ 21
4. Set the foreground to black and background to the diamond pattern.
5. Open your square font and type in sized 72, with create as vector and antialias both checked the first letter of your name or nick
6. Position it to the right of your canvas and the edge is at the center, resize so it is takes up a lot of the canvas, when happy, convert to raster layer.
7. Effects > 3D effects > inner bevel of choice, I used pillow preset with the settings: width ~ 8, smoothness ~ 35, depth ~ 4, Ambience ~ 2, shininess ~ 37, color ~ white, angle ~ 315, intensity ~ 30, Elevation ~ 53
8. Effects > Plugins > Lokas > Drop with the settings: antialias and relief UNchecked, bevel width ~ 10, bevel depth ~ 100, color overlay UNchecked, color opacity ~ 100, highlight color ~ white & opacity 50, shadow color ~ black & opacity 50
9. Duplicate this layer, highlight the copy, image > mirror
10. Open your tube, copy and paste as new layer, resize and position as desired
11. Effects > 3D effects > drop shadow with settings: vertical & horizontal both ~ 2, opacity ~ 100, blur ~ 2, color ~ black.
12. Open another of your fonts and with antialias and create as vector both checked add your tag name, resize and position as desired and convert to raster layer. Add the same drop shadow as above, then repeat the drop shadow with the same settings, but change the vertical & horizontal to -2
13. Highlight the layer below your tube, select the rounded rectangle preset shape with line width ~ 2 and create as vector checked and with the pattern still selected, draw a bar across the top of your canvas and convert to raster layer
14. Add the same Lokas Drop settings on it
15. Add any accents you like
16. Add another raster layer for any copyright information and another for your watermark
17. Resize as desired and save as jpeg
